About Us

PreKPlays.com was founded by Scott and Andrea Vander Ploeg and is a family venture.  Scott Vander Ploeg is the pastor of Sunlight Community Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. His wife, Andrea, was a preschool and kindergarten teacher for many years before becoming a full-time mother of three beautiful preschool-aged daughters. Scott and Andrea worked together to help Sunlight Community Church start Sunlight Christian Academy– which has become one of the premier Christian preschools in the entire state of Florida. It is now fully accredited with Christian Schools of Florida and Christian Schools International.  Scott and Andrea have a love for reaching young people and children with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And the Vander Ploeg family loves Christmas!
